Welcome to Working The Web

Greetings, and welcome to Working-The-Web.com!

This site is dedicated to assisting you in obtaining a decent online income. The Working The Web tag line is “If you do what you always did, you get what you always got”. This can be looked at in two different ways.

First, If you continue to do things the same way without any satisfactory results, you will continue to receive results that are disappointing.

Second, If you do what you always did and received results and income that you desire, than continue and expand. Another words to take from a common saying - Rinse, Lather and Repeat.

My goal is to provide you the information that will get your creative juices flowing.
I will focus on the need-to-know techniques for work at home and online businesses used by those who are actually making an online income.

You will learn the tips and techniques used to enhance your Internet marketing results. You’ll find how to utilize and exploit untapped Niche Markets. I will also keep you updated on current Private Label Rights (PLR) content and sites that offer these services.

eBay© is still the number one online auction site, I will show you how to improve your auctions listings and how to use eBay along with niche markets you provide a steady income.

Last but not least, and the most important aspect of any online business is Search Engine Optimization (SEO), SEO is a skill that will pay for itself for years to come!

Lets face it. these days anyone can can create a website, put up a few products and call it an online business.

The fact of the matter is that even if you have the most unique idea, the best new product or service, no one will come if they can not find you. Each website is like an island in a vast ocean.

The trick is getting people to come to your island. For example; if you are selling a “widget”, click here to go to google, type in “widget”… Last time I looked, it was 24 million pages with the word “Widget”. Even if your site is on page 4 of the Search Engine Results Page (SERP), most people will never see you.
The idea is to find your niche and market it. To illustrate that point, I have another website called Wargame-Terrain.com. It is mostly an informational site that has google ads, tips and tools on building terrain for tabletop war games.

Is it a Niche? You bet it is!

go back to google here and type in “wargame-terrain”. At the time of this writing, I was number one and number two out of 60,000 pages with that keyword. My goal is of course to be number one, but as long as I am on page one or page two of the SERP, I am happy!

Each week (and sometimes every day) I will upload no nonsense articles, downloads, tools, tips, and techniques on the art of making money online. Many folks just like you are using these same processes to make a good supplement income or even a great full time living.

Remember, anything worth trying is worth putting in 110% effort.

WTW’s main target audience is those individuals who have recently embarked on the Internet journey, people who have been online and simply decided to begin monetizing their current sites, and those Internet savvy folks who want to gain more knowledge in Internet marketing,

Before you begin selling information products on the Internet, you want to make sure you’re targeting a niche that will be profitable for you in the short and long-term. A niche just means your target audience, or a select group of people that have an interest in a certain topic.

Some niches, as you’ll discover, aren’t as profitable as others. You need to look at your audience and see if they’re willing (and able) to spend money for the solutions they’re seeking. Many niches are in the form of hobbyist who prefer to create their own products. Your information product can be a list of new ideas and techniques to improve their hobby.

For instance, golfers have deep pockets because the game of golf in itself is expensive. They’re also rabid fans of the game who would do anything to improve their score or beat their competitors on the links. Crafters love to create things. Research crafts and supply them with hard to find information that applies to their craft.

But another niche, such as single moms on a budget may not be willing to pay $67 for an information product showing them how to get organized. Sometimes it depends on the solution itself. Targeting this same niche of single moms, you may find some are willing to pay $47 for an eBook that shows them how to make more money working from home than they do in their regular 9-5 jobs.
